With just a couple of days until Hasbro's next
Marvel Legends Live-Stream, which takes place on Monday (2/21) at 11am ET, I thought I would go on and share a new
Rumor Report with you. This of course has
NOT been officially confirmed by
Hasbro at this time, but based on information I have seen it looks like another
Marvel Legends 6" Black Costume Symbiote Spider-Man figure is on tap for 2022. This is on top of the
Retro one we just got.
From what I can tell this figure should be part of
Hasbro's Spider-Man 60th Anniversary offerings this year. I don't know for sure what version of the black costume it will be but my
BEST GUESS at this time is either a
Playstation video game version as pictured below for
reference only, or possibly an
animated version. I have previously seen indications that we will be getting some kind of
Animated Series Spider-Man figure as part of the
60th Anniversary, and I could see them adding
cell shading to the
Retro one we just got like they did with the
Pulse-Con exclusive Venom. Those are more a guess than anything, so we will have to wait and see exactly what the figure will look like. Whether this is something
Hasbro might reveal on Monday or not, I really don't know and of course until
Hasbro officially confirms this we will treat it as
RUMOR.
