Keep seeing pics of this set and I'm actually really tempted, that DD actually looks pretty cool with the Cell shading, because it looks comic book, and the clear Hydro-Man still has ben super interested, tough..I think I'll hold out and wait and see if this ends up at gamestop so I can get a discount, won't pull the trigger now, this would be a rando see it on the shelves impulse buy if anything.

for once though Hasbro does a cool Cell Shaded figure, and it doesn't look like it's from a TV show at all

I ended up grabbing this set. I've got all the ML Daredevils and while I have no other cell shaded figures and he will stand out amongst the others. Still can't say I like Hasbros cell shading, I was sold on DD.

I have the original Hydro-Man as well but an all water version is cool. Wonder if the water arms from the original can be used here?

Personally I have no issue with DD being on the RYV mold, he's always been a slimmer character in my eyes so while Vulcan would probably work too, RYV is just fine with me. I just want him single-carded...

Now if only they would release more Spideys on the AF mold.

That's exactly what I'm afraid of. I think they're stuck on the poses that they are able to put that model into.

Still the old Bucky Cap body was surprisingly poseable for it's limitations. And if the Vulcan is and improvement then it should be as well. And it is actually. But most of all it just looks right for DD. I thought the DD body was pretty much a staple in not only the ML size chart but in the comics as well. Right there in the middle. A bit bigger and bulkier than Spider-Man but not quite as large and stout as Captain America. Am I wrong?

No my friend your right, but I feel they went with this body just because they had not used it on any other figures than Spidey and probably thought they were doing too many other heroes on the Vulcan buck. But honestly I like dd on the Spidey buck and the more I looked at the pics, this is the best use of cel shading by hasbro to date...oh and one figure no one is speculating on in this line is Shocker. They will paint in his lines and probably give him a new head sculpt. They didn't make him on an all new pinless body to not get more out of him, too easy hasbro.

Still don't understand why they went back to the cel-shading

Looks like they've been trying to improve or got some consultant on how to do it properly. It does look better than most attempts from the past. Actually it looks good. The only hiccup is the body mold.

Gotta have that hydro man. It is a weird combo to put these together. Didn't think we would see a hydro man again for a while so that's nice. And I wouldn't hold my breath on a dd on a Vulcan buck, hasbro seems stuck on this Spidey buck with him. We can hope thou.

Seems like we will be getting more Spidey Cartoon 2 Packs this year.

Still don't understand why they went back to the cel-shading

One thing I really like is that they finally gave Daredevil a different facial expression. Other than that image.thumb.gif.70b5e94cb46697c37dd93440d3a29133.gif

My clamoring for a classic DD on the Vulcan buck continues.
