I like my Juggs to be pretty big, and this is the biggest I've seen.

I'm actually surprised at myself, with how easily I passed on the Juggernaut. (One of my favorite characters) Too cartoony of a face for my liking. I get that he looks just like the game, but I don't really have any investment in it. Overall, he looks cool, but I really like the baf and two pack versions of him. Anymore, redone figures really are gonna need to be head and shoulders better than the previous ones. Between prices, life, and the sheer amount of lackluster redos last year, I'm a bit burnt out on them. I pre-ordered the Secret Wars figures and felt nothing when they arrived, same with Agent Venom. I convinced myself they would be so much better, but they aren't enough to justify the buy.

I am the opposite here, I do believe this new juggs is leaps better than the last offerings. Also, it helps that I passed on the BAF and the 2-pack, holding out for when Hasbro improves their articulation scheme, and here it is, 6 years later. However, I will say that this looks way better in vanilla poses than I thought it would, and secondly, the elbow and knee articulation is worrying. The more I look at it, the more I notice that the range of motion looks the same as the older one. Not very pleased about that, but I preordered this and luckily had a coupon for $10 off. To me is worth the MAXIUM-deluxe price tag.

I'm having the same issue right now. That's never happened to me before...

Happened twice before for me this month alone, excluding today's adventure. My order went through now after 10 minutes of trying, but not before I had to put in a backup at Big Bad. Like I said, SDCC will be real fun when you manage to be one of the lucky early ones to get it in cart, only to not be able to checkout.

What is up with Pulse, lately? You can't ever checkout anymore. You just get a "press and hold" to verify you're not a bot thing that just resets over and over again. Really looking forward to their shenanigans once the SDCC exclusives drop in a month...

As far as MCU figures go, these Fantastic Four figures are looking pretty cool. The Human Torch with the flame-on look could probably fit in a comic display. Also, I'm liking this Su Storm head sculpt! While I'll certainly be passing, I wouldn't blame anyone for picking these up.

Man, I'm so glad I preordered all of them. They look so much better together!!! I'm thinking of canceling regular Johnny, but I'm not sure yet. I like having my characters unmasked/depowered too for display options :BRegarding the Juggs size debacle... I understand the sentiment. I think this Jugg is PERFECT and would be my pick if I were collecting outside MCU/ or working exceptions (black cat and black suit spidey from gamerverse, IMHO, fit perfectly). I would pick him up if I found him after the reviews came in and saw how he looked with some MCU figures, but I'll probably be better of waiting for an MCU Juggernaut. That said, I really wanted to want the gamerverse Venom, but he's just too huge to fit in my collection realistically. He looks perfect next to movie Carnage, but that figure is too big as is, so... I can't let myself get a figure that's so much bigger than it should, closer to a Giant man or Surtur. I guess this is what a personal collection is in the end, picking and choosing what we prefer

Re: F4 First Steps figures

LOL. Looks like this guy (or gal) passed on the regular Johnny Storm. Can't really blame them. That's what I would have done. The face sculpt on Sue is actually really nice. Not my cup of tea but honestly they are better than I expected. Still PASS.
