Chief, pretty sure you can't even name them three of these events off the top of your head. Focus on talking about things you can talk about.

One would think that if the story really focused on hero vs. hero, they would at the very least mention it if not flat-out promote it as such, which is what they did with both Civil Wars, as well as Schism. And technically speaking, AXISwasn't really a hero vs. hero story since the second part of that equation had been turned genuinely evil.

The synopsis does indicate thatnot everybody will have the same opinion to the outlawing, but it doesn't seem to imply the "whose side are you on" and "debate withfisticuffs" aspects which are the meat of any Civil War story.

There are still sides to take, their will be those who agree and those who don't. Those who will obey the law and those will be fight it it, just like Civil War. Hopefully though this will be handled way better than both Civil War and especially Civil War 2

Ithinkwe may be experiencing the youth's allegories as a slap in the face because we're older and get it. I may be wrong, but I think that our experience is the very same thing that could be making us feel like they're dumbing down. I mean, it's happened to me talking to my younger siblings about different subjects, and they're not that much younger.

If she can rehab some of these Champions characters in a similar way she did Riri I'm all in to give it a shot. With the whole outlaw thing I think they're trying to do revival of the 70's/80's X-Men vibe, which was good and entertaining. Back then they had a message but it was all done through allegory, not just a slap in the face. If they could pull that off it would be yet another move in the right direction for Marvel.

Sounds too similar to Civil War for my liking. Hopefully it won't be a killfest like some of Marvel's other teen crossovers
