If they're going to repack a Wolverine, why not the Target one that's coming out soon? Because that mold is oversized with a crap neck and the Wolverine line Wolverines are all better?
Ew, no. The XMO line Wolverines are horrid. The MU line is a far better mold.
Articulation wise yes the MU one is better. However SIZE wise it is horrible. Scaled the MU one would be over 6 feet tall. Where as the XMOW ones are about 5'7" still a little tall but much closer.
..yeah there's no argument for this hurting the line that can be made. All it does is make me consider skipping the Hasbro Marvle panel at SDCC and make change my custom plans (or not change them)
When it was one or two things, I wondered if Hasbro didn't care (like they were ok with leaking a little info to get people excited). Now that it is a ton of stuff, I am thinking that this absolutely isn't the case.
So new question on this guy- Does his "business activity" hurt the hobby and the MU line, or does it help? I'm undecided on this so far. On the one hand, I know that there are figures coming up that I want to save up for, and that will help me plan my toy budget. Also, I love geeking out and salivating at these new finds. On the other hand, it is likely (although not confirmed) that fatman acquired these through shady means, and Hasbro won't get to unveil these with the same level of excitement that they would've recieved for the first glimpses of all this new product. I don't think this hurts the MU line since he only has 1 painted and 1 unfinished prototypes. The few that buy these will be the only collectors to have these for a long time. It does kill the excitement about the Hasbro display at SDCC since we've now seen almost everything for the next 6-9 months.

..so are we past people asking if these are legit or not? unless he customized figures we've only seen pictures of, I'm pretty sure he's legit. I don't know if he got these "legitimately", but I think they are real pre-production figures. My guess is that these are extras from the upcoming SDCC display. I wonder if Hasbro will be asked about these leaks in the SDCC Q & A.
I don't want to sound antagonistic, but every time stuff like this pops up, someone always says that "those are customs." They continue to say it no matter how many times new stuff pops up on Ebay ( :spidey_deadtopic:). This happens on GI Joe message boards all the time.
I see your point, Chaz; with added hair she'd look more human. But I still feel that without she looks completely Dave Cockrum-drawn.

You're right, it's a decent mold...I think I'm just picky when it comes to Storm, feihong. She was my fave in the 70s & 80s. I tweaked the picture a little in photoshop (moved the tiara up slightly & added height to the hair). What do you think when you compare the two?
