New Thor Movie 3.75" Figure Images Plus Reports Of Them Showing Up At Retail

Jay Cochran - January 31, 2011
Shown below are some new retailer images of Hasbro's upcoming 3.75" Thor Movie products that have been making their way around the Internet today. Marvelous News reader Sammy243 posted these on our forums though we aren't sure where the images first originated from. Nothing we haven't really seen before but we thought we would show you the images anyway. Shown are the following figures:

- Lightning Clash Thor
- Battle Hammer Thor
- Sword Spike Thor
- Shield Bash Marvel's Odin
- Secret Strike Loki

Also shown are Role-Play versions of Thor's Hammer and Helmet.

In what might be considered bigger news, we have gotten a few reports from readers saying they are actually starting to find these products at Target stores and that the DCPI for them is 087061449. So if you are wanting to get your hands on these figures, then you may want to start checking your local Target store now.

"Thor" stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Rene Russo, Stellan Skarsgard, Jaimie Alexander, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Josh Dallas, Tadanobu Asano, Idris Elba, Clark Gregg, Colm Feore and opens on May 6th, 2011.

Toys R Us is definitely going to have the Thor toys.

Who's your source??? Do you have proof of this??? I don't know either way but "definitely" means you have confirmation, right??? You're not just posting "definitely" without being confirmed???

I have a friend who works at the Norwalk, CT Toys R Us store. He told me the Thor figures would be in stock when I brought it up the other day.

If you would like to contact the store yourself:

59 Connecticut Avenue

Norwalk, CT 06851

(203) 852-6988

Enjoy.

Hey man, sarcasm. Right?

I'm sick as a dog right now, so excuse my defensive reply.

Also, a congrats to coming through on your X-Force Archangel claim. I was wrong to doubt you, but I'm extremely skeptical (and usually pretty good at it) by nature. Nice work.

Edit: Just saw your above post. Relax, dude. I've been on the forum like twice since the news broke.

I didn't doubt they would have them... I was just screwing around based on how much of an a$$ he was to me about X-Force Archangel... Which is available in February like I said it would be. And now he's avoiding that topic like the plague... Funny he can't even say he's sorry for all the trash talk about me wanting attention or my credit card getting declined....

I am more than excited for Thor, I love classic, I love modern and cannot wait for the movie. Besides, Hemsworth is still pretty damn jacked up in most of the promo images I have seen

Thor looks like a dude in a Halloween costume. Way too skinny, wrong face, sounds like a normal guy, and a dull costume.

Cap designs look pretty nice from what I've seen.

You are way to critically about things sometimes. Not many movies can get actors to look exactly like the way the comics are drawn. I think the guy is Huge, look at him with his shirt off in the trailer, you think that is skinny? You must be like 7 feet tall and weigh 300 pounds in real life to look at that dude and call him skinny. Halloween Costume? What costume store are you shopping at because if they have detailed armors like that, then DAMN I need to start shopping their for my costumes. I also like the other poster don't get the normal sounding guy thing? He has an accent in the movie and when he's screaming at Odin that he's an old man and a fool he sounds pretty Thorish to me. You are just being very critical with the wrong face and accent thing because he's been drawn 1000's of different ways before and he doesn't look the same from one comic to the next. The Superbowl trailer showed and everyone around me at Hooters thought Thor looked awesome and that is coming from a bunch of Football fans. The Captain America Teaser was cheered at when it showed.

You're right Riddick. I think this movie is going to be amazing. The trailers look good.
